Gameloft has recently unveiled a significant update for Minion Rush: Running Game, introducing a slew of changes that enhance both the game's performance and player experience. The update shifts the game to the Unity engine, resulting in a visually upgraded, cleaner, and sharper look. Alongside this, a new user interface has been implemented, making navigation smoother and more intuitive for players.

One of the most eagerly awaited features is the introduction of an endless runner mode, accessible directly from the main menu. This mode allows for continuous play without the interruptions of traditional levels. Additionally, individual abilities for Minions have been introduced, adding a new layer of strategy and personalization to the gameplay.

Player customization has been expanded with the ability to personalize profiles using nicknames, avatars, and frames. A new Costume Collection feature also enables players to unlock special bonuses, further enhancing their in-game experience.

The update also introduces the Hall of Jam, where players can collect bananas during runs to fill a progress bar. This unlocks various rewards, including story puzzle pieces, Minion stickers, G-Coins, gadgets, and costumes, adding an exciting new dimension to the game.

New power-ups like the Disco-boot, Bouncer, Rocket Blade, and Minion Armor have been added, along with new Gadgets that allow players to adjust their strategy before starting a run, providing temporary boosts to distance and performance. Additionally, locations from earlier versions are receiving visual updates, and the game now includes daily and weekly tournaments where players can compete against others and earn rewards.
