Monster Hunter Now's Season 5: The Blossoming Blade is almost here! Niantic has unveiled all the exciting details for the upcoming season, launching March 6th, 2025. Prepare for new challenges, weapons, a Season Pass, and thrilling monster encounters.

Pre-Season Surprise!

Before Season 5 officially begins, a special treat awaits! Catch the Chatacabra, making its debut on February 28th, even before its appearance in Monster Hunter Wilds. Then, upon the season's launch, Glavenus and Arzuros will join the hunt.

Weapon Enhancements

Expect balance adjustments to enhance the viability and enjoyment of all weapon types. The Sword & Shield receives a buff, improving accuracy against breakable parts like tails. The Perfect Rush Combo (SP) will reward precise timing with amplified power and more satisfying combos.

The Guard skill also gets a significant upgrade. Previously, skill level improvements had minimal impact, but now, higher levels will noticeably reduce damage taken while blocking. Further details on additional weapon tweaks will be revealed in the full patch notes on March 6th.

Celebrating 1.5 Years of Monster Hunter Now!

On March 17th, a new feature arrives to commemorate the game's 1.5-year anniversary. This feature allows trading of special materials earned from hunts and events for valuable rewards, including Item Box Expansions, Weapon Refining Parts, Armor Refining Parts, and Wyvern Gem Shards.
