At the ID@Xbox Showcase event, fans were treated to an exciting premiere of a new trailer for Moonlighter 2: The Endless Vault, the much-anticipated sequel to the original game. The developers confirmed that the game will be available on Xbox Game Pass from day one, set to launch before the year's end.
Developed by Digital Sun in collaboration with publisher 11 bit studios, Moonlighter 2 is an isometric action-adventure RPG infused with roguelike elements. Players will embark on a thrilling journey to transform their modest shop into a thriving business by delving into dungeons to gather rare artifacts and face off against formidable foes.
Digital Sun has promised that Moonlighter 2: The Endless Vault will build upon the original game's core, introducing more expansive narratives and refined gameplay mechanics. The storyline follows the protagonist, Will, as he searches for his home dimension within the vast world of Trense. Throughout his adventure, Will reconnects with old allies and forms new friendships. His quest leads him to encounter a mysterious trader who enlists him to find potent relics that could help him return home.
The game's soundtrack is composed by the renowned Chris Larkin, celebrated for his work on Hollow Knight. Gamers can look forward to experiencing Moonlighter 2: The Endless Vault later this year on PC via Steam, Xbox Series, and PS5.
