Once you've beaten the game, you can use Chapter Select to revisit the Shopkeeper, where Filler Metal will be available for purchase at 11,250 G each.

Although the price is high, buying Filler Metal is far more reliable than repeatedly running through the Factory. This is especially important for upgrading your Pods, as these upgrades are crucial for tackling enemies as you approach the game's maximum levels.
