Nintendo's Latest Collaboration: A LEGO Game Boy!

Get ready for some nostalgic fun! Nintendo has just announced a new collaboration with LEGO, bringing us a highly anticipated LEGO Game Boy set. Launching October 2025, this follows the successful LEGO NES release, marking the second Nintendo console to receive the LEGO treatment.

While exciting news for fans of both brands, the announcement on X (formerly Twitter) has sparked a flurry of speculation about the upcoming Nintendo Switch 2. Many users humorously interpreted the LEGO Game Boy reveal as a cryptic announcement of the new console, with comments like, "Thanks for finally revealing the new console!" and "At this rate, a LEGO Switch 2 will be out before the actual reveal!"

While details on the Switch 2 remain scarce, Nintendo President Furukawa confirmed in May 2024 that an announcement regarding the Switch's successor would be made within the current fiscal year (ending March). Patience is key!
