The LEGO Nintendo collaborations have already yielded some amazing results, like last year's interactive Mario and Yoshi set and the first-ever LEGO Legend of Zelda set. But with so many iconic Nintendo franchises, the possibilities are endless! Currently, the selection leans heavily towards Mario (including Donkey Kong) and Animal Crossing. As a LEGO and Nintendo fan, I'm eager to see more!

So, fellow enthusiasts, which Nintendo franchise deserves the LEGO treatment next?

With the upcoming Switch 2, anticipation for the next generation of Nintendo is high. We can likely expect more LEGO Nintendo sets, especially given Nintendo's investments in film (the new Mario movie and the eventual live-action Zelda adaptation) and upcoming Switch games. Personally, I believe Metroid offers the most exciting potential for LEGO sets. With Metroid Prime 4 on the horizon, it's the perfect opportunity to create incredible builds. Additionally, I'd love to see proper LEGO Pokémon sets, rather than the existing MEGA sets, although licensing agreements might make this challenging.
