The iconic face of the franchise, actor Norman Reedus, recently shared some tantalizing insights about the game during an interview with IGN, alongside a sneak peek into the upcoming film adaptation.

When quizzed about the possibility of portraying himself in the film version, which is being crafted by Michael Sarnoski and A24, Reedus responded with enthusiasm, stating, "If it was an option, yeah, for sure. I don’t know what’s happening with it. It’s so pre pre pre right now. But yeah, of course." His openness to the idea has fans eagerly anticipating more details about this intriguing project.

Reedus also touched on his experience with the original game and his perspective on the upcoming sequel. Despite admitting to some confusion with the first game, he expressed a deep trust in creator Hideo Kojima, saying, "As far as working with him and understanding where his head’s at, I don’t think anybody can understand where his head’s at. He’s just that guy, he’s out there and he’s got great ideas." He further added that he had a better grasp of the story this time around and highlighted the increased action and clearer objectives in Death Stranding 2.
