Orna: The GPS RPG is gearing up for its next major event, Natureblight. This new in-game chapter launches on May 30, 2025, and continues until June 14. As the latest installment in Terra's Legacy, it once again challenges players to engage in an environmentally-themed conflict.

Natureblight Introduces a New Threat in Orna: The GPS RPG – The Great Murk

Northern Forge Studios is placing a significant emphasis on planetary themes, much like in their previous updates. With Natureblight, Orna: The GPS RPG integrates genuine conservation topics into the gameplay.

This also marks the studio's second participation in the Green Game Jam, backed by the Playing for the Planet Alliance. Veteran players will recognize how the game uniquely blends fantasy elements with real-world GPS data. The new event will transport you to areas currently confronting serious ecological challenges.

Throughout the event, you will be teleported across Orna's world to seven different real-world locations. Each destination features a new animal guardian representing its local ecosystem.

You will travel to Prince Edward County in Canada to encounter the Beaver and explore Oceania's Coral Reefs. You'll also trek through the misty paths of Uganda's Bwindi Impenetrable Forest with the Mountain Gorilla and confront frozen remnants like the Bone Mammoth in Dunkerque, France.

Other stops include the Giant Tortoise in Ecuador's Galapagos Islands, the Giant Panda in Chengdu, China, and the Macaroni Penguin standing firm in the Antarctic Peninsula. You can befriend these Animal Guardians and keep them as permanent companions after the event concludes.

Confronting The Great Murk

As you progress through each region, you will uncover how the alien Terran civilization ruined their own environment through deforestation, pollution, and species extinction. Now, the same destructive force, known as The Great Murk, is re-emerging, and you must fight to repel it.

To complement the theme, a Natureblight pack is available in Orna: The GPS RPG via PlanetPlay. It offers origin town cosmetics, character sprites, and consumable boosters. Find the game on the Google Play Store.
