Lead gameplay designer Alec Dawson recently discussed hero balance with Overwatch 2 content creator Spilo. Dawson revealed upcoming plans, reflecting on past design choices and hinting at upcoming adjustments. He confirmed imminent buffs for both Reinhardt and Winston.

Reinhardt's Charge is slated for a damage increase to 300, potentially one-shotting most non-tank heroes upon pinning. Winston will receive improvements to both his Tesla Cannon alt-fire (likely a reduced charge time) and his Primal Rage ultimate, though specifics on the ultimate changes remain under wraps.
