Examine an Altar's modifiers before interacting. Activating it unleashes a large enemy wave. Remain within the designated circle; leaving it prematurely ends the event with no rewards. Successfully completing all Rituals on a map marks it as complete.

Confronting the King in the Mists: The Ritual Pinnacle Boss

'An Audience With The King,' a unique Ritual currency, unlocks a fight against the King in the Mists at the Crux of Nothingness. Use it in your Atlas Realmgate.

Reaping the Rewards: Tribute, Favours, and Omens

Completed Rituals yield Tribute, a temporary currency for purchasing randomized Favours. More Altars completed equal more Tribute and unlocked Favours. Initial Favours are usually Magic items or low-level Currencies, progressing to Rare gear and high-tier Currencies. "An Audience With The King" is exclusively a Favour reward.

Omens, extremely valuable items, can enhance other Currency effects. Examples include Omens of Annulment and Alchemy. Their power makes them highly sought-after, often traded for significant value. Regular high-tier Currencies (Exalted Orbs, Vaal Orbs, etc.) also drop from Ritual enemies. The King in the Mists has a chance to drop Uniques from a pool of event-exclusive items.
