Persona 5: The Phantom X is preparing for its worldwide debut, with Android pre-registrations now open. Following the previously announced Japanese launch date of June 26th, 2025, the game will now release globally on that same date.

Initially launched last year in China before expanding to Taiwan, South Korea, Macau, and Hong Kong across Android, iOS, and PC platforms, this mobile RPG from SEGA and Atlus is now receiving a full global rollout.

Created by Black Wing Game Studio with involvement from former Persona 5 developers, Phantom X follows a free-to-play format complete with a character gacha system for expanding your Phantom Thieves roster.

Persona 5: The Phantom X Global Pre-Registration Now Available

The international version will feature original Japanese voice acting with optional English or Japanese subtitles. Eager fans can now pre-register via the Google Play Store and check out the official announcement trailer below.

The narrative introduces a brand-new protagonist leading their own team of Phantom Thieves through a stylized modern Tokyo, complete with fresh palaces and mementos to explore.

Maintaining the series' beloved formula, Phantom X combines social simulation with dungeon crawling while preserving the strategic turn-based combat system. New features include a guild system, PvE Velvet Trials mode, plus appearances from familiar Persona 5 characters.

The adventure begins when the protagonist awakens from a disturbing nightmare into a distorted reality, soon encountering the mysterious talking owl Lefaye alongside the iconic Velvet Room attendants and their unsettling long-nosed master.
