PlayStation Plus January 2025 Games: Suicide Squad, Need for Speed, and The Stanley Parable Now Available

PlayStation Plus subscribers can now claim three free games for January 2025: Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit Remastered, and The Stanley Parable: Ultra Deluxe. These titles are available until February 3rd.

This month's selection includes the controversial Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, a PlayStation 5 title from Rocksteady Studios. While its initial reception was mixed, PlayStation Plus members can now experience it for themselves. The other two offerings provide diverse gameplay experiences.

All PlayStation Plus tiers (Essential, Extra, and Premium) receive these free games. This follows December's lineup of It Takes Two, Aliens: Dark Descent, and Temtem, which were available until January 6th. Sony announced the January games on New Year's Day, with the offer going live on January 7th.

• Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit Remastered (PS4): 31.55 GB (PS5 backwards compatible, but no native PS5 version or enhancements)
• The Stanley Parable: Ultra Deluxe (PS4 & PS5): 5.10 GB (PS4), 5.77 GB (PS5)

Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit Remastered stands out as the only game without a native PS5 version. While playable via backwards compatibility, it doesn't utilize PS5 enhancements. In contrast, The Stanley Parable: Ultra Deluxe offers native versions for both PS4 and PS5, boasting expanded content and improved accessibility.

Storage Space: Players aiming to claim all three games should ensure they have at least 117 GB of free space on their PS5.

Sony is expected to announce February's PlayStation Plus games towards the end of January. The service will also see further additions to its Extra and Premium game catalogs throughout the year.
