During the GO Tour: Unova event, which celebrates the Unova region featured in Pokemon Black and White, players will have the chance to engage with Black and White Kyurem from 10 AM to 6 PM local time on both days of the event. This introduction fits perfectly with the event's theme, further enhancing the immersive experience for fans.

Black and White Kyurem Fusion Mechanics

Similar to last year's Necrozma fusion event, Pokemon GO players will have the opportunity to fuse Kyurem with other legendary Pokemon. Black Kyurem can be fused with Zekrom using 1,000 Volt Fusion Energy, 30 Kyurem Candy, and 30 Zekrom Candy. On the other hand, White Kyurem can be fused with Reshiram using 1,000 Blaze Fusion Energy, 30 Kyurem Candy, and 30 Reshiram Candy. The fusion is reversible at no cost, and the required energy can be earned by defeating Kyurem in raids.

Once fused, Black Kyurem will gain the powerful move Freeze Shock, while White Kyurem will learn Ice Burn, adding new strategic elements to battles.

Special Event Backgrounds

In addition to the new Pokemon and fusion mechanics, the GO Tour: Unova event will offer two special backgrounds inspired by Pokemon Black and White. Players who fuse Black Kyurem with Zekrom or White Kyurem with Reshiram will unlock these exclusive backgrounds.
