Can You Help Both Prochek and Olbram in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2?

The residents of Tachov and Zhelejov are at odds in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, but you can complete most quests for both Prochek and Olbram with careful choices. This approach lets you explore both settlements’ stories, though a perfect resolution for both isn’t possible. It does, however, maximize your experience of the game’s content.

Should You Choose Prochek or Olbram in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2?

If you prefer to back one side, the choice doesn’t significantly impact the outcome. Both Prochek and Olbram aim to undermine each other, so it boils down to which task you find more entertaining.

Olbram tasks you with stealing Zhelejov’s maypole, requiring stealth at night to distract the guard. Prochek asks you to paint Olbram’s bull blue, which involves getting a recipe from Radovan and dye from a tailor.

Prochek’s quest feels slightly tougher, especially early in the game. Limited groschen or low Speech skills can make dialogue checks tricky, so siding with Olbram might be smoother for some players.

No matter your choice, I’ll detail both questlines below.

How to Start Mice for Prochek in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2

Begin the Mice quest by talking to Prochek in Tachov. If you can’t locate him, head to the local inn and ask the innkeeper—he’s your guy.

Get the Dye and Lullaby Potion

After meeting Prochek, visit Troskowitz and buy dye from Bartoshek, the tailor.

To get the Lullaby Potion, either apprentice with Radovan, the Tachov blacksmith, or persuade him to share it. The recipe needs oil, poppy, and thistle, which you can gather from the garden outside Troskowitz’s apothecary.

Once the potion is ready, head to Zhelejov, pour it into the bull’s trough, and wait for it to sleep. Then, interact with the bull to paint it blue.

Report back to Prochek to complete the task. You can also speak with Olbram to start the Frogs quest and plot revenge against Tachov.

How to Start Frogs for Olbram in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2

Find Olbram near Zhelejov’s meadow and agree to steal Tachov’s maypole to begin the Frogs quest, which involves a nighttime heist.

Steal the Maypole

Go to Tachov at night and approach the maypole cautiously. Henrik guards it, and you can either knock him out or use high Speech to charm him.

Talk to Henrik about Manka to convince him to leave for a secret date while you “guard” the maypole. Visit Manka at the inn to arrange the date, then return to Henrik. Once he’s gone, climb and cut down the maypole.

Inform Olbram of your success. He’ll commend you and assign another task: chase sheep from Tachov’s pasture and deliver a digestive potion to Alshik.

You can either continue Olbram’s quest or warn Prochek about the plan to end both quests and stop the rivalry’s antics.
