If you've played those titles and wished for larger squads, R.E.P.O.'s lobby size mod is your answer. This guide explains how to increase the player count beyond the default six.

Installing the More Players Mod in R.E.P.O.

R.E.P.O.'s default six-player lobbies are generous, but this mod lets you expand that. You'll need BepInEx, a mod framework, from Thunderstore. Here's how:

Download and install BepInEx from Thunderstore.
Download the More Players mod from Thunderstore.
Open the downloaded .zip file.
Drag the "plugins" folder into the BepInEx directory within your game's files.

That's it! The More Players mod is installed. Now, let's adjust the lobby size.

How to Increase Lobby Size

To change the maximum player count, you need to edit a configuration file:

Locate the BepInEx config folder.
Open the zelofi.MorePlayers.cfg file using Notepad (or a similar text editor).
Find the line "Maximum Players" and change the number to your desired lobby size. For example, set it to "8" for eight players.
Save the file and launch the game.

Caution: Setting the player count too high might cause crashes. Start with a moderate increase and adjust as needed.
