How to Respec in Avowed
Tired of your Avowed character's performance? We've all been there—a poorly chosen class or attribute points invested in skills you now regret. This guide shows you how to respec and revamp your character in Avowed.
How to Respec Your Character in Avowed (& When You Should)
Choosing the perfect character build at the start of a game is tough. Respeccing allows you to adjust your character if your initial build isn't working out. In Avowed, this is particularly useful; you might start as a full wizard, only to discover a spellsword build suits you better. Later in the game, respeccing helps optimize your combat effectiveness and create your dream build.
Respeccing Abilities

To respec your abilities, open the menu and go to the "Abilities" section. At the bottom, you'll find a "Reset Points" option. The initial cost is 100 Copper Skeyt, increasing with gameplay. Select the option, confirm, and pay the price to reset all ability points (excluding "Godlike" abilities, which are acquired through in-game choices).
Respeccing Attributes

Happy with your abilities but not your attributes? Or maybe you want a complete overhaul. Open the menu, navigate to the "Character" section, and look below the attribute names for a button to reset attribute points. The initial cost is 100 Copper Skeyt (increasing later). Click the button, pay the cost, and reclaim your attribute points.
Respeccing Companions

To respec your companion, open the menu, go to the "Abilities" section, and select the "Companions" tab. Under your companion's name, you'll see a button to reset their points for a Copper Skeyt cost. Remember, you must respec each companion individually.
That's how to respec in Avowed. Enjoy your newly optimized character!
Avowed is available now.
