Today, Vampire Survivors unveiled an exciting new free DLC titled the Emerald Diorama, drawing inspiration from Square Enix’s acclaimed JRPG series, SaGa. This crossover marks the game's most substantial update to date, infusing it with a rich JRPG atmosphere.

Emerald Diorama Brings JRPG Vibes to Vampire Survivors

The Emerald Diorama DLC introduces a captivating new stage designed as a mini world map, echoing the world-hopping essence of JRPGs. Players will encounter over a dozen new characters, ranging from puppeteers to those who sing cursed melodies.

This update boasts over 16 new weapons and introduces the Glimmer system, allowing players to randomly acquire new skills during runs. Additionally, the game now features nine new music tracks, enhancing the immersive experience.

To unlock the Emerald Diorama, players should navigate to Moongolow and interact with a new merchant. Purchasing the Emerald Disk for 50,000 gold will enable you to unlock the DLC's content incrementally.

Furthermore, the DLC adds two new Adventures, which are mini-campaigns with six chapters each. "To End an Ice Age" complements the base game, while "Tides of the Foscari" expands the new DLC's narrative.

Alongside the DLC, There’s Another Free Update

Accompanying the Emerald Diorama, the base game received a free update named The Coop, centered around chickens. This update introduces Gazebo, a new chicken character, along with a new weapon and a relic that accelerates gameplay.

Players can achieve numerous new achievements and unlock Darkana. Collecting 500 lifetime floor chickens will unlock The Coop update's full potential.

Here’s a pro tip: When playing The Coop, refrain from killing anything for the first minute to unlock the Gaze of Gaea. Evolving it with Parm Aegis will further unlock Gazebo.
