Scammers are distributing fake invitations to test Elden Ring Nightreign
Bandai Namco is sending out emails inviting players to a closed beta test for Elden Ring: Nightreign, scheduled for February 14-17, 2025. The test will focus on the game's three-player cooperative mode.
However, beware of phishing scams! Fraudsters are distributing fake invitations mimicking official Bandai Namco communications. These emails often contain links to fraudulent websites designed to steal player accounts, sometimes disguised as Steam login pages. Reports indicate some players have had their accounts compromised, though some have successfully recovered them via Steam support.

A significant change in Elden Ring: Nightreign is the removal of the in-game messaging system. Project director Junya Ishizaki explained this decision, stating that the approximately forty-minute session length doesn't allow sufficient time for players to send or read messages effectively. Therefore, the feature has been temporarily disabled for the beta.
