Scarlet Girls: Crafting Your Ultimate 2D Squad - A Beginner's Guide
Dive into the exciting world of *Scarlet Girls*, a fresh Idle RPG where you command an all-female squad of technologically enhanced mecha waifus. Set in the 119th year of the Old Euro Calendar, the game unfolds in a world where mutated animals and powerful beings have driven humanity to the edge of extinction. As one of the last hopes for mankind, your mission is to recruit and train these mecha girls to combat the menacing catastromechs and restore peace on Earth. This beginner's guide will illuminate the core game mechanics and various game modes designed to enhance your account's power and progression. Let's get started!
Understanding the Combat Mechanics of Scarlet Girls
The heart of *Scarlet Girls* lies in its Idle-based combat system, offering a laid-back experience for players who prefer to avoid manual battling. The game uses a turn-based system where actions are determined by each character's Speed stat, with every round concluding once all allies and enemies have taken their turns. You can deploy up to 5 characters in battle, and features like Quick Dispatch help you automatically set up your formations based on your strongest characters. Once your team is set, you can relax and watch the thrilling animations of each character's special abilities unfold.
Your characters, officially termed "Stellaris," come equipped with powerful active and passive abilities that automatically activate in combat. Each skill has a cooldown period, requiring a set number of turns before it can be used again. Crafting synergistic squads of mecha girls is key to overcoming your enemies. While the combat unfolds in real-time, your strategic influence is limited to the strength and composition of your deployed team.

Each Stellaris belongs to one of four core classes, each with unique utility:
- Paladins – Boast the highest armor stat, acting as frontline tanks to absorb enemy attacks and protect teammates.
- Support – Specialize in healing and supportive abilities, offering crucial utility from the backline.
- Devastator – Experts in dealing massive energy damage, designed to obliterate enemies with heavy firepower.
- Assaulter – Skilled in close combat, wielding bladed weapons to deal devastating physical damage.
Echo – The Gacha System of Scarlet Girls
Recruitment of Stellaris is facilitated through the game's gacha system, known as Echo. Stellaris are categorized into different rarities: R, SR, SSR, and SSR+. Higher rarity Stellaris not only have superior base stats in Attack, Defense, and HP but also possess more potent abilities that can significantly impact gameplay when used strategically. The Echo system is your gateway to acquiring these powerful characters.
At the global launch, the "Normal Echo" banner is the sole summoning option, offering R-SSR Stellaris. You can use Echo tickets or Diamonds to summon, with a guaranteed SSR character within 40 summons. Each summon also earns you 20 Echo points, and accumulating 2000 points allows you to select a random SSR character from one of the four elemental banners (excluding Nebula). You can track this progress on the right-hand side of the Echo system. Here are the recruitment probabilities:
- R Stellaris – 19.979% chance
- SR Stellaris – 2.667% chance
- SSR Stellaris – 0.133% chance
- SSR+ Stellaris – 0.010% chance
For an enhanced gaming experience, consider playing *Scarlet Girls* on a larger screen using BlueStacks on your PC or laptop, with the added precision of a keyboard and mouse!
