Old School RuneScape Mobile Celebrates Sixth Anniversary with Massive Update!

Jagex has unleashed a significant update for Old School RuneScape's mobile version, marking its sixth anniversary! This anniversary update is packed with features designed to enhance gameplay. Let's dive into the details and see if you agree with the improvements.

This update focuses on improving ease of use, performance, and personalization. New features include a revamped mobile UI, Side Stones, hotkeys, and more.

The new UI offers customizable layouts. Side Stones, acting as a central combat and gameplay hub, provide quick access to inventory, gear, spells, and friends. Five on-screen hotkeys are now available, with easy switching between up to three customizable layouts for streamlined gameplay transitions.

The Menu Entry Swapper (MES) lets you modify interactions with NPCs and items, adapting the game to your preferred playstyle. A new Popout Panel provides real-time XP tracking, ground item indicators, and other helpful information. Finally, HiScores have been added to the mobile client, enabling players to track their progress and compare rankings.
