Suzerain, the critically acclaimed narrative government simulation game, is celebrating its fourth anniversary with a significant mobile relaunch on December 11th, 2024. Instead of a simple anniversary update, Torpor Games is delivering a major overhaul for mobile players.

Originally launched on Android in December 2022, Suzerain casts players as the president of the fictional nation of Sordland, forcing them to navigate complex political landscapes and make difficult choices. This relaunch significantly expands the mobile experience.

The Kingdom of Rizia Expansion

The most notable addition is the inclusion of the Kingdom of Rizia, bringing the mobile version fully in line with the PC experience. Players can now engage with the political intricacies of both Sordland and Rizia, experiencing the complete narrative arc.

New Progression System and Cloud Saves

To enhance gameplay, Suzerain's mobile relaunch introduces Political Influence Levels and Story Points. Players earn experience points (XP) through daily challenges and achievements, unlocking rewards and accelerating their progress through the narrative. A new cloud save system ensures seamless game continuation, although cross-platform saving isn't currently supported.

Freemium Model and Pricing

The game adopts a freemium model. Players can enjoy parts of the game for free by watching ads and earning Story Points. Alternatively, premium story packs for Sordland ($19.99) and Rizia ($14.99) are available for purchase, along with various subscription options ranging from daily to monthly passes. A Lifetime Pass grants permanent, ad-free access to all content.
