Celebrate 25 years of The Sims with the return of the original games! EA and Maxis have unleashed a fantastic anniversary surprise: The Sims and The Sims 2 are back on PC via Legacy Collections. Available separately or bundled together for $40 in The Sims 25th Birthday Bundle, these collections include nearly all expansions and stuff packs for each game. The Sims Legacy Collection even throws in a bonus "Throwback Fit Kit," while The Sims 2 Legacy Collection gets a "Grunge Revival Kit," adding extra flair to your nostalgic gameplay. Note that The Sims 2 Legacy Collection omits the IKEA Home Stuff pack.

This marks the first time in over a decade that both games have been readily available digitally. The Sims was originally only released on disc, making access difficult for modern players. While The Sims 2 had a brief resurgence with an Ultimate Collection on Origin, that version was later removed. Now, with these new Legacy Collections, all four main Sims titles are easily accessible on digital storefronts.
