The new teaser for *The Sinking City 2* offers a glimpse into its core gameplay mechanics, showcasing intense combat, thorough location exploration, and intriguing investigations. These elements are set to be central to the experience. Keep in mind, the footage you've seen was captured during the pre-alpha phase, so expect some evolution in gameplay. Rest assured, the graphics and animations will see significant enhancements before the final release.

As a direct sequel to the original, *The Sinking City 2* dives deeper into the survival horror genre. The narrative picks up in the city of Arkham, now ravaged by a supernatural flood that has plunged the city into chaos and made it a breeding ground for monstrous creatures.

To bolster the development of this ambitious project, Frogwares has initiated a Kickstarter campaign aiming to raise €100,000 (around $105,000). These funds will not only help expand the game's development capabilities but also allow the team to reward their loyal fans and engage players in playtesting sessions to fine-tune the game to perfection before its launch. The game is being crafted using the powerful Unreal Engine 5, promising stunning visuals and immersive gameplay.

Mark your calendars: *The Sinking City 2* is slated for a 2025 release, and will be available on next-gen consoles including Xbox Series and PS5, as well as on PC via Steam, EGS, and GoG.
