Securing a Bed

Early in the game, acquiring a bed is crucial. Progressing through either the blacksmith (Radovan) or miller (Kreyzl) questlines, as part of the "Wedding Crashers" quest, will grant you access to a bed. Radovan's location in Tachov offers closer proximity to the starting area. Complete his smithing tutorial to unlock the bed in the room adjacent to the forge.

This bed will be marked on your map, and a nearby chest provides convenient storage. Return here whenever you need to heal.

Campsite Slumber

When immediate access to your bed is impossible, numerous campsites scattered throughout the game world offer alternative resting spots. Some may be occupied by bandits; eliminate the threat before using the facilities. Empty campsites are also available. These locations are marked on your map, and interacting with the bedrolls allows for a less comfortable, but effective, rest.

Sleeping in an NPC's bed is a last resort. Getting caught will likely result in a confrontation with the guards unless you can successfully de-escalate the situation.
