Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2: A DRM-Free Experience

No Microtransactions, Either

In a recent FAQ, Saber Interactive outlined player expectations for the upcoming September 9th release. They explicitly stated that Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 will not utilize DRM software. While DRM is often used to combat piracy, it's also known to sometimes negatively impact game performance.

Although DRM is absent, the PC version will employ Easy Anti-Cheat at launch. The use of Easy Anti-Cheat has faced scrutiny in the past, notably within the Apex Legends community following a hacking incident.

Currently, official mod support is not planned. However, players can anticipate other exciting features, including a PvP arena, horde mode, and a comprehensive photo mode. Saber Interactive assures players that all core gameplay content is free, with microtransactions and DLC limited to cosmetic items only.
