Significant Gameplay Changes Reverted, Effective October 24th

Hotfix 4.1, deploying October 24th, will reverse the most impactful balance changes introduced in Patch 4.0. This decision follows significant player backlash and negative Steam reviews. Game director Dmitriy Grigorenko stated, "We’ve been monitoring your feedback...and have decided to address your most pressing concerns." The introduction of public test servers, planned for early 2025, aims to prevent similar situations in the future.

The initial nerfs in Patch 4.0, intended to increase challenge by adjusting enemy spawns, inadvertently impacted lower difficulty levels. Saber Interactive clarified that the goal was to increase enemy numbers, not simply boost enemy health.

Hotfix 4.1 will specifically:

• Revert Extremis enemy spawn rates to pre-Patch 4.0 levels on Minimal, Average, and Substantial difficulties, with significant reductions on Ruthless.

• Increase player armor by 10% on Ruthless difficulty.

• Buff bots, increasing their boss damage by 30%.

• Substantially buff Bolt weapons across the board. Specific damage increases are detailed below:
