Radiangames has unveiled Speed Demons 2, a thrilling side-scrolling highway racer that echoes the beloved arcade racing series Burnout with its stunning visual style and high-octane gameplay. Initially a mobile game, the sequel is now in development for PC and is set to launch later this year.

The developer explains that the game's controls prioritize movement over traditional steering. Players will utilize gas, brake, and turbo (or ability) buttons, while using an analog stick or mouse to move up and down, controlling the vehicle's direction. "It sounds unusual, but it's immediately intuitive once you start playing," the team assures.

Speed Demons 2 offers ten engaging game modes, including Pursuit, Takedown, and Rampage, reminiscent of Burnout's Road Rage. These modes challenge players to destroy other cars within a set time limit. Another mode, Scratchless, evokes Burnout's Burning Lap, pushing players to reach the finish line with minimal damage to their vehicle.
