This feature, where only one player needs to purchase the game for two-player co-op, remains a distinctive element in the industry. While previous titles lacked crossplay, a feature seemingly ideal for their cooperative focus, this limitation is now a thing of the past.

Split Fiction, Hazelight's upcoming title, will proudly boast crossplay functionality, officially confirmed by the developers. The Friend's Pass system returns, allowing two players to enjoy the game together with only one purchase, though both will require an EA account.

Adding to the excitement, a playable demo is now available, letting players experience Split Fiction's gameplay collaboratively. Progress made in the demo will seamlessly carry over to the full game.
