Following several Closed Alpha tests, Splitgate 2 is opening its doors to everyone with an Open Alpha Test! This highly anticipated sequel, revealed in 2024, will be playable on February 27th, 2025, for a limited time.

When and How to Join:

The Open Alpha Test begins February 27th, 2025, and concludes March 2nd, 2025, on PlayStation consoles, Xbox consoles, and PC via Steam. To participate:

1. On February 27th, visit your preferred digital storefront (Steam, PlayStation Store, Xbox Store).
2. Search for "Splitgate 2".
3. Download the Crossplay Alpha Test.

What Awaits You:

This Open Alpha will showcase Splitgate 2's cross-platform play and introduce the thrilling new "Multi-Team Portal Warfare" mode. Prepare for chaotic battles with 24 players across three teams of eight, battling it out on the game's largest map yet. Expect new weapons, perks, and equipment to experiment with, all while mastering the iconic portal mechanics that defined the original.

While new character classes (or factions) with unique abilities are planned, the core gameplay revolves around the signature portal system, refined based on extensive player feedback. 1047 Games aims to deliver a landmark FPS experience.
