How to Get the Unique Cavalier Rifle in Stalker 2

To acquire the Cavalier Sniper Rifle, head to the Military Unit inside the Duga base in *Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl*. The rifle is located within a warehouse connected to a greenhouse. If you've previously visited the Duga base to access the Journalist stash, you'll find the second entrance quite familiar, making your entry straightforward.

Getting Inside the Warehouse Near the Military Unit of Duga Base

Upon entering the Duga base, navigate towards the Military Unit building as indicated on your map. You don't need to enter the building itself; instead, proceed around it to reach the greenhouse at the back. Be on high alert, as two Pseudogiants roam this area and will attack on sight. Approach the greenhouse cautiously to avoid a confrontation with these formidable mutants.

Once inside the greenhouse, you'll find yourself in a warehouse. Be prepared for multiple swarms of rats that will spawn upon your entry, gradually draining your health. To escape the rats, climb onto the elevated green platforms at the back of the warehouse. A well-placed grenade can effectively deal with the rat swarms.

Break the Wooden Boards & Grab the Cavalier Rifle

After neutralizing the rat swarms, direct your attention to the ceiling above the entryway connecting to the greenhouse. You'll notice wooden boards painted yellow. Use your weapon to shoot these boards, causing the Cavalier sniper rifle to fall from above.

Secure the rifle and safely exit the Duga base. For further enhancement, take the Cavalier to Screw, the technician at Rostok base. With its maximum damage and excellent accuracy, the Cavalier can be further improved through upgrades and mods.
