Star Wars Franchise Expands to PC with Zynga’s Hunters Debut

Star Wars: Hunters is blasting off to PC in 2025! Get ready for enhanced visuals and effects on Steam, launching in early access.

This marks Zynga's first PC release, bringing the intergalactic team-based combat of Star Wars: Hunters to a new platform. Currently available on iOS, Android, and Switch, the game casts players as gladiators battling in the Grand Arena on Vespara, a planet situated between the original and sequel trilogies. Choose from a diverse roster of characters, including stormtrooper defectors, rogue droids, Sith acolytes, and bounty hunters.

The PC version promises sharper textures, improved effects, and native keyboard and mouse support with customizable controls. If you're a fan looking for a bigger screen experience, keep an eye out for updates in 2025.

The Cross-Play Question

While this announcement is fantastic news, a key detail is noticeably absent: cross-play functionality. While it's possible cross-play is still under development, its omission is significant. Hopefully, players won't be forced to maintain separate progress across different platforms.
