Saber Interactive has firmly stated that all its previously announced projects are still actively being developed, despite the ongoing silence surrounding high-profile titles such as the Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic (KOTOR) remake. Following the recent announcement of Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 3, Saber's Chief Creative Officer, Tim Willits, took to Twitter to reassure fans that the studio remains committed to its entire slate of announced games.

"Saber Interactive is one of the largest independent developers in the world," Willits emphasized. "We are working on numerous games across many different genres. Everything that we have talked about is still in development. We will share information on upcoming games when we have something cool to share."

The most talked-about project in light of Willits' statement is undoubtedly the KOTOR remake, a game that has become one of the most elusive in the industry. Announced back in 2021, the much-anticipated remake has seen multiple changes in development teams, with rumors of halted and restarted development, yet it has yet to surface after four years.

In April 2024, Saber Interactive's CEO, Matthew Karch, confirmed that the KOTOR project was taken by Saber during its separation from Embracer Group, and that the game is still in active development. "It's clear and it's obvious that we're working on this," he stated at the time. "It's been in the press numerous times. What I will say is that the game is alive and well, and we're dedicated to making sure we exceed consumer expectations."

Willits' recent statement reaffirms Karch's words from nearly a year ago, yet fans are still awaiting any visual or gameplay updates beyond the initial announcement video.

Alongside the KOTOR remake, Saber Interactive has a robust lineup of other games in the works, including titles expected to launch in 2025 such as John Carpenter's Toxic Commando and Jurassic Park Survival, though specific release dates remain undisclosed.
