Stardew Valley's highly anticipated 1.6 update finally arrives on mobile devices! Console and mobile gamers can rejoice as the massive update launches on November 4th, 2024, following its March 2024 PC debut.

What's New in Stardew Valley 1.6 Mobile?

This update significantly expands the game. Online multiplayer now supports up to eight players, double the previous limit, allowing for even more collaborative farming, fishing, and building. Two exciting fishing festivals—the Trout Derby and SquidFest—join the seasonal event lineup, alongside the Desert Festival.

A brand-new Meadowlands Farm layout offers a perfect blend of livestock raising and fishing. Over 100 new NPC dialogues add depth and enhance interactions with the town's beloved characters.

Stardew Valley 1.6 introduces a wealth of new items: a Big Chest (nearly twice the capacity of a standard chest), a dehydrator for preserving produce, a heavy furnace, and a bait maker for crafting specialized fishing lures.

Customization options abound with new furniture styles and over 25 stylish new hats. Players can now collect prize tickets from quests and festivals, redeemable at a prize machine in Lewis's house.

After maxing out your initial pet's friendship, you can now acquire multiple pets, each potentially bringing gifts! And yes, you can even put hats on your furry friends. Additionally, NPCs now sport winter attire.

A golden Joja parrot aids in locating those elusive golden walnuts on Ginger Island. New crops include carrots, summer squash, broccoli, powdermelon, and two giant crop varieties.

Reason for the Delay?

The mobile and console release was delayed to allow the developers ample time to thoroughly test the update on PC and address any potential bugs. Now, in November, it's finally here! Get ready for new fishing events, adorable pets, and exciting new crops.
