During Shift Up's IPO press conference on June 25, CFO Ahn Jae-woo revealed that the company is actively exploring a PC version of Stellar Blade. Ahn believes this move would be an excellent way to further monetize the IP, considering the current distribution trends of the PS5 and the shifting consumer base towards PCs for AAA games. Adding to this, CEO Kim Hyung-Tae confirmed that the company is reviewing a PC version of Stellar Blade, though he couldn't provide specific release timing due to contractual obligations. This aligns with Shift Up's public filings about considering a PC release and a sequel for this successful IP.

Kim emphasized that their goal with Stellar Blade was to create a high-value IP that fosters a global fanbase and strengthens brand identity. To achieve this, they consciously avoided microtransactions, which could potentially harm the brand, and plan to communicate this commitment clearly to their fans.

Regarding the recent collaboration with Goddess of Victory: NIKKE, Kim expressed optimism about creating positive synergy between the IPs, promising good results in the near future.

Stellar Blade has been a phenomenal success, selling approximately one million copies worldwide within just two months of its release. As a PS5 exclusive, it has topped sales charts in major markets like the US and UK, ranking first in sixty different stores since its launch in late April.
