"Stellar Mercenaries Unveils Jupiter Expansion for Vertical-Scrolling Shooter"
Get ready, space warriors! Stellar Mercenaries has just launched its thrilling Jupiter Expansion, nearly doubling the game's content and bringing the action to the solar system's largest planet. If you haven't yet experienced Stellar Mercenaries, it's a dynamic vertical-scrolling action arcade space shooter where you tackle procedurally generated missions, customize your ships and weapons, and aim to become the most feared mercenary in the solar system.
What’s New in the Jupiter Expansion of Stellar Mercenaries?
The Jupiter Expansion turns Jupiter itself and its moons - Ganymede, Io, and Europa - into intense battlegrounds. Each location offers unique challenges: Ganymede's barren wastelands, Io's volcanic landscapes, Europa's frozen terrains, and Jupiter's storm-filled atmosphere. Adding to the excitement are two new factions: the powerful Jovian Empire, intent on dominating the region, and the chaotic Pirate Council, a coalition of outlaws.
This expansion introduces 50 new missions, ranging from hyperspace hunting to track down elusive targets, piracy missions, escort missions, and even train defense missions. Six new ships join the fleet: Raider, Goblin, Mako, Boxer, Lightning, and Skybreaker. Arm yourself with an array of new weapons, including the Hyper Velocity Mortar, Plasma Seeker, EMP Rockets, Mauler Cannon, Electron Beam, and Neutron Beam.
New Hazards, Shields, and More
The update also brings Tier 4 shields and armor to the game, along with new hazards such as asteroid fields, elite enemy squadrons, and the formidable Pacifier. Some enemy mercenaries have been upgraded, introducing new classes like Nightmare, Riot, and Warhawk.
Enhancing your gaming experience, the expansion includes 14 new music tracks and introduces a new side missions system. Don't miss out on this expansive update - dive into Stellar Mercenaries on the Google Play Store and explore all the new content waiting for you!
