George Miller, my absolute favorite director, has crafted two of the most iconic movie franchises I adore: Mad Max and Happy Feet. Yes, there was indeed a sequel to Happy Feet—definitely worth checking out. But let's dive into the thrilling world of Mad Max, where Miller brilliantly combines the raw energy of '80s action with a visionary depiction of a post-apocalyptic Australia. After releasing three films from 1979 to 1985, it appeared the series would remain a trilogy, a nostalgic reminder of a past era. However, following his detour with Happy Feet, Miller made a triumphant return to his roots.

With Tom Hardy stepping into the role previously played by Mel Gibson, Mad Max: Fury Road hit theaters in 2016, receiving widespread critical acclaim and earning six Academy Awards. Although the latest addition, Furiosa, didn't replicate the same box office success, I firmly believe that Mad Max stands as one of the greatest action franchises of all time.
