Nightdive Studios has exciting news for fans of the iconic 1999 sci-fi horror action role-playing game. Originally announced as System Shock 2: Enhanced Edition, the game has been renamed to System Shock 2: 25th Anniversary Remaster. This updated version is not only coming to Windows PC via Steam and GOG but will also be available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and S, and for the first time, on Nintendo Switch.

Nightdive Studios has promised that a release date for System Shock 2: 25th Anniversary Remaster will be revealed during the Future Game Show Spring Showcase livestream on March 20, 2025. Alongside the announcement, fans can look forward to a new trailer that will give them a fresh glimpse into the remastered experience.
