Marvel Studios has unveiled a teaser trailer for their upcoming film, The Fantastic Four: First Steps. The brief clip, titled "PREPARE 4️⃣ LAUNCH," depicts children excitedly rushing towards a shop window displaying retro televisions. The screens show a rocket launch, the Fantastic Four seemingly donning spacesuits, and the message "Prepare 4 Launch." The 1960s retro-futuristic setting is evident from the televisions and overall aesthetic. Two additional screens are partially obscured.

The full trailer will debut at 7 AM ET (4 AM PT) on February 4th.

The synopsis for The Fantastic Four: First Steps, slated for release on July 25th, 2025, is as follows:

Set against the vibrant backdrop of a 1960s-inspired, retro-futuristic world, Marvel Studios’ The Fantastic Four: First Steps introduces Marvel’s First Family — Reed Richards/Mister Fantastic (Pedro Pascal), Sue Storm/Invisible Woman (Vanessa Kirby), Johnny Storm/Human Torch (Joseph Quinn) and Ben Grimm/The Thing (Ebon Moss-Bachrach) as they face their most daunting challenge yet. Forced to balance their roles as heroes with the strength of their family bond, they must defend Earth from a ravenous space god called Galactus (Ralph Ineson) and his enigmatic Herald, Silver Surfer (Julia Garner). And if Galactus’ plan to devour the entire planet and everyone on it weren’t bad enough, it suddenly gets very personal.

The film stars Pedro Pascal, Vanessa Kirby, Joseph Quinn, and Ebon Moss-Bachrach as the titular Fantastic Four, with Ralph Ineson as Galactus and Julia Garner as Silver Surfer. Supporting roles include Paul Walter Hauser, John Malkovich, Natasha Lyonne, and Sarah Niles. Matt Shakman directs, and Kevin Feige produces.

At New York Comic Con (NYCC) in October, artwork showcased a live-action glimpse of H.E.R.B.I.E. (Humanoid Experimental Robot B-Type Integrated Electronics). Speculation abounds regarding a potential Robert Downey Jr. cameo as Doctor Doom. Feige has confirmed the Fantastic Four's appearances in Avengers: Doomsday and Avengers: Secret Wars.
