The Ballad of the Dunes event promises a journey through history, romance, and mystery, enveloped in the timeless sands of the ancient Silk Road. Players will immerse themselves in solving captivating mysteries against the backdrop of Dunhuang's storied past. Here's what this update brings to the table:

The event introduces four new MR cards, each uniquely representing the four main characters—Luke, Artem, Vyn, and Marius. These cards are inspired by the vibrant elements of Dunhuang's culture, featuring flying apsaras, intricate murals, and the iconic pipa played behind the back, reminiscent of the ancient performers in the Mogao Caves. The Silk Road, a historical crossroads of art, culture, and trade during the Western Han Dynasty (202 BC–8 AD), is brought to life in a digital format through HoYoverse's creative lens.

Each card not only showcases stunning artwork but also weaves its own narrative: Luke's "In the Footsteps of Silk," Artem's "Serenade of the Soul," Vyn's "Reverberation Through Time," and Marius's "Void of Creation." These cards come with Private Messages that offer a deep dive into a millennium-long journey, enhancing the immersive experience.

What Are the Rewards?

From February 13th to February 20th, 2025, players can earn various rewards including Camel Bells, S-Chips, and other goodies by completing event tasks. The core challenge involves flipping cells on a game board to reveal hidden treasures.

The grand prize of the Ballad of the Dunes event in *Tears of Themis* is a pack of the exclusive Ballad of the Dunes MR cards. Players can choose one of the four MR cards as their ultimate reward in each round. Additionally, by successfully flipping 100 cells, participants can unlock the special Celebration – Dunes Namecard.
