Netflix Games is soon adding the narrative-driven action-adventure game, Thirsty Suitors, to its library. Already available on PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, and Steam, this unique breakup simulator lets players battle exes in turn-based combat, impress their mom with South Asian-inspired cooking, and master skateboarding tricks.

Set in the 1990s, Thirsty Suitors explores themes of culture, relationships, and self-discovery. Players navigate the town of Timber Hills on their skateboard, performing grinds and wall runs while uncovering the secrets of Bearfoot Park. A mood system in the RPG combat allows for exploiting enemy weaknesses.

The game, developed by Outerloop Games, is a recipient of the 2022 Tribeca Games Awards and received nominations for the 2024 New York Game Awards and the 2024 GLAAD Media Award. Outerloop's Chandana “Eka” Ekanayake will participate in a Games for Change Festival panel on June 27th and 28th, discussing representation in gaming.
