We're working on something—This is the first time I've said that publicly." While details remain scarce, Hawk assures fans that the plans will be "something the fans will truly appreciate."

The original Tony Hawk's Pro Skater launched on September 29, 1999, propelling the franchise to immense success with numerous sequels. The 2020 release of the remastered Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1 + 2 (THPS 1+2) fueled hopes for remastered versions of Pro Skater 3 and 4. However, the project, initially undertaken by the now-defunct Vicarious Visions, was ultimately canceled. Hawk previously stated on a Twitch stream in 2022 that the cancellation was due to Vicarious Visions' closure and Activision's restructuring.
