The Dark Knight's reign in the video game world was once a near-constant stream of new titles. Rocksteady's Batman Arkham series, in particular, revolutionized superhero gaming, setting a high bar that continues to influence the genre today.

But recently, Batman's video game presence has dwindled. A true solo Batman adventure hasn't graced our screens since 2017's The Enemy Within, and there's no immediate indication of that changing. He appeared in Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, though it's hardly a solo Batman game. More importantly, the Arkhamverse expanded into VR.
