How to Unlock High Rank

To unlock High Rank, you must complete the main storyline. Spoiler alert: The main story culminates in a battle within the Dragontorch. After defeating the monster and watching the subsequent cutscenes, the game will automatically transition to High Rank.

What is High Rank?

High Rank marks the beginning of the true Monster Hunter challenge. Expect significantly tougher monsters with increased health, damage, and a shorter fuse.
