Pokemon GO Unveils New Unova Tour Pass: Rewards, Milestones, and More!

A new Tour Pass for the upcoming Pokemon GO Unova event will be available from February 24th to March 9th, offering exciting rewards and progression milestones. This pass enhances the already anticipated Pokemon GO Tour, focusing this year on the Unova region (Gen 5) with themed wild Pokemon encounters, raids, and egg hatches.

The annual Pokemon GO Tour, timed around Pokemon Day, spotlights a different region each year. Previous Tours celebrated Kanto (2021) and Sinnoh (2022), introducing shiny Pokemon and unique variants.

This year's Unova Tour Pass, available from February 24th, 10 AM to March 2nd, 6 PM local time, offers both a free and a deluxe version. Players earn Tour Points by completing daily tasks, catching Pokemon, participating in raids, and hatching eggs to level up their free pass. Milestones unlock rewards like Candy and Stickers, culminating in a special Zorua encounter. All rewards expire on March 9th at 6 PM.

A Deluxe Pass, priced at $14.99 (or $19.99 with 10 pre-unlocked ranks), offers all free pass rewards plus an encounter with the Mythical Pokemon Victini and a new Lucky Trinket. This item guarantees a Lucky Trade with a chosen friend, resetting their Lucky Friend status afterward. Deluxe Pass rewards, including the Lucky Trinket, also expire on March 9th at 6 PM.

The Unova Tour Pass adds extra excitement to an event promising the debut of Kyurem (Black and White forms) via fusion, mirroring last year's Necrozma debut. Shiny Meloetta will also appear, accessible via ticketed Masterwork Research.
