World of Warcraft has unveiled the schedule for the latest Turbulent Timeways event, which will run for seven consecutive weeks of Timewalking campaigns. From now until February 24, players will have the opportunity to dive into every Timewalking expansion, earning new rewards, accumulating a wealth of Timewarped Badges, and benefiting from a powerful experience buff.

The Turbulent Timeways event, first introduced in September 2023, initially offered five weeks of Timewalking campaigns. During these periods, players could earn a stackable buff that, upon completing four Timewalking dungeons, would transform into the Mastery of Timeways – a 20% experience boost. Those who achieved this buff for all five weeks earned the Master of the Turbulent Timeways achievement and the Sandy Shalewing pet.

Now, the Turbulent Timeways event returns with an expanded lineup. Over the next seven weeks, players will participate in a different Timewalking campaign each week, starting with Mists of Pandaria on January 7 and concluding with Cataclysm the week of February 18. Each week will feature the standard quests, dungeons, and raids associated with World of Warcraft Timewalking campaigns, along with the return of the stackable Mastery of Timeways buff.

Players who achieve Mastery of Timeways for five out of these seven weeks will earn the Mastery of the Turbulent Timeways 2 achievement, which comes with the charming Timely Buzzbee mount. Timewalking vendors for each expansion will have new permanent items in their stock, such as Season of Discovery-themed World of Warcraft transmogs at the Classic vendor. Additionally, during this event, they will offer the Sandy Shalewing for those who missed the previous Turbulent Timeways. The Cache of Nerubian Treasures, awarded for completing the weekly Timewalking dungeon quest, will provide Heroic gear during the event.

Following the conclusion of the World of Warcraft 20th anniversary event, which featured 11 weeks of consecutive Timewalking campaigns, players will now experience 18 weeks of Timewalking in a row.

The end date of the Turbulent Timeways event also hints at World of Warcraft's upcoming plans. With the last Timewalking campaign ending on February 24, and considering the typical eight-week release cycle and the holiday season, February 25 appears to be the likely release date for World of Warcraft Patch 11.1, Undermined. This patch will arrive 10 weeks after Patch 11.0.7. With the Turbulent Timeways, the second run of Plunderstorm from January 14 through February 17, and the first major content update for The War Within shortly after, World of Warcraft is set to kick off 2025 with a series of exciting events.
