Focus Entertainment and Saber Interactive made an exciting announcement on Focus's official website on March 13, 2025, confirming that development for Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 3 is now underway. John Bert, Deputy CEO of Focus Entertainment Publishing, and Matthew Karch, CEO of Saber Interactive, shared their insights on the current status of the franchise and what fans can expect in the future.

Bert expressed his enthusiasm, saying, "Today, we are thrilled to announce that the adventure will continue with Space Marine 3. Players can anticipate an immersive campaign, a multiplayer mode, and innovations that will redefine the standards of third-person action games." He further added, "Developed in close collaboration with Games Workshop, Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 3 will elevate the genre by introducing large-scale battles that are even more spectacular."

Karch elaborated on the development process, stating, "We are now starting to develop Space Marine 3, a game that carries with it tremendous expectations from our rapidly expanding fanbase." He continued, "While we will continue to support and grow the Space Marine 2 universe over the coming years, we will take all our learnings and apply them to an even bigger and more spectacular game for the third installment. We view this as an opportunity to create a true love letter to the Warhammer 40,000 universe."

Although the announcement did not reveal specific details about Space Marine 3, it has certainly given fans something to look forward to.

Space Marine 2 Will Continue To Get Support From The Developers

The announcement of Space Marine 3 came as a surprise, especially since Space Marine 2 was released just recently in September 2024. However, the developers have reassured fans that support for Space Marine 2 will continue for the foreseeable future.

Karch emphasized the importance of Space Marine 2 for Saber, saying, "Space Marine 2 has proven to be a transformative game for Saber. It is the culmination of everything we have learned about game development in our 25 years in the business."

Since its launch, Space Marine 2 has consistently received additional content, and the developers are committed to continuing this trend with an ambitious roadmap that extends until the end of 2025.
