Conquer the Lifer in Wuthering Waves 2.0's Rinascita Region!

Wuthering Waves version 2.0 introduces the challenging Lifer, a unique Tacet Discord found in Oakheart Highcourt within the Fagaceae Peninsula. This guide details how to overcome this formidable foe.

Locating the Lifer

The Lifer resides at the maze's heart in Oakheart Highcourt, beneath a giant tree. An accessible entrance is located southwest, near the Resonance Beacon. Utilize climbing or the Flight function to reach it.

The Lifer Board Game

Inside, you'll find the Lifer and a six-piece board game. Control the black pieces to connect three in a row before the Lifer (white pieces). Placing a black piece on the outer circle opens corresponding maze walls and gates. You can exit and resume the game at any time. Winning isn't necessary for the fight, but it's crucial for buff removal.

Removing the Lifer's Buffs

The Lifer boasts seven buffs; four are removable using the Stake of Imbalance, while three are permanent. Examine the yellow module behind the Lifer to see the active buffs.

Removable Buffs (using Stake of Imbalance):

• Growing Loneliness: HP recovery after 2 seconds of no damage.
• Desire for Escape: Increased ATK and additional DMG increase every 20 seconds.
• Impending Stalemate: ATK increase stacking with each DMG dealt (up to 4 stacks).
• Decay of Time: Increased resistance to all elemental damage types and increased Max HP.

Permanent Buffs:

• Chains of Confinement: Interruption immunity above 50% HP.
• Endless Game: Reduced Immobilization duration.
• Divine Garden: Repels and damages nearby enemies after significant single-hit DMG.

Obtaining the Stakes of Imbalance:

Use the Sensor near the Lifer to reveal four purple lines leading to four outer maze rooms. Manipulate the board game to open the gates to these rooms. Each room contains a Stake of Imbalance (glowing white) near a winged statue. Some rooms require Tacet Discord defeats or Friable Rock destruction.

Place each Stake of Imbalance in the module in front of its corresponding statue to remove a buff. The purple line will turn yellow once a buff is removed.

Defeating the Lifer

After removing all four removable buffs, engage the Lifer. The fight will be significantly easier. You can win the board game or choose "Fight it out!" Victories reward Premium and other Supply Chests. You can re-enable the buffs for a greater challenge, but there are no associated achievements.

Achievements:

• The Lifer's Salvation: Defeat the Lifer.
• The Ring of The Lifer: Defeat the Lifer three times for all chests.
• Limit of Intelligence: Win the board game.
• Alpha Go: Lose the board game 10 times.

For the board game, focus on blocking the Lifer's lines. It will eventually make a mistake.
