Wuthering Waves Soars with Version 2.0: New Region, Characters, and More!

The highly anticipated Version 2.0 update for Wuthering Waves has arrived, delivering a massive expansion of content. Explore a vast new region, encounter fresh characters and bosses, and master new gameplay mechanics. The JRPG experience is now also available on PS5.

The star of the show is Rinascita, the Land of Echoes – a nation of city-states steeped in culture and art, where Echoes are deeply woven into daily life. Explore diverse areas, from Ragunna to the Nimbus Sanctum and Thessaleo Fells, each with its unique atmosphere.

Two captivating new characters join the fray:

• Carlotta: A 5-Star Glacio Resonator wielding dual pistols. Her elegant combat style is complemented by a gem-inspired aesthetic, and her Resonance Ability unleashes devastating Glacio damage.

• Roccia: A theatrical combatant from the Fool’s Troupe, summoning tornadoes to control the battlefield. Paired with her stage partner, Chest Mimic – Pero, she brings chaotic flair to combat. Her Resonance Ability gathers enemies, setting up powerful attacks.

This update also introduces character skins (including Jinhsi's peach blossom outfit and Sanhua's exorcistic adjuration), challenging new boss encounters (like the Dragon of Dirge and revamped Nightmare Echoes), and exciting new gameplay features: soar through the skies, utilize the Cuddle Wuddle leap, and navigate the canals via gondola during the main quest.
