Following a strong showing at the Xbox Developer Direct to kick off 2025, the future looks bright for Microsoft and its impressive lineup of first-party studios. But which Xbox game series gets *you* most excited? Which ones provided the most enjoyment back in the Xbox 360 era? Or, if you're new to Xbox, which titles are you most anticipating on platforms like PlayStation, given Microsoft's apparent commitment to expanding its game library's reach?

With Microsoft's acquisitions of Bethesda and Activision Blizzard, the choices are plentiful. This tier list includes any series associated with Xbox, Bethesda, and Activision Blizzard, provided it boasts more than one entry – apologies to MachineGames and *Indiana Jones*! A sequel would certainly change that. This isn't an exhaustive list of *every* Xbox game series, but it aims to cover the most relevant and historically significant franchises.

For me, *Doom* easily earns an S-tier ranking. The recent entries are among my favorite first-person shooters, and *Doom: The Dark Ages* looks promising. *Forza Horizon* also claims an S-tier spot; arguably, outside of *Burnout 3* and *Burnout Revenge*, they're the best racing games I've ever played. Placing *Halo* in A-tier might raise eyebrows. While *Halo 2* and *3* boast phenomenal campaigns, I can't ignore the inconsistencies in more recent titles. Personally, I'm more of a *Fallout* fan than an *Elder Scrolls* enthusiast. Power armor over dragons, any day!
