HoYoverse's mobile hit, Zenless Zone Zero, continues its impressive market performance. The recent 1.4 update, titled "And the Starfall Came," propelled daily player spending on mobile to a record-breaking $8.6 million, surpassing even the game's initial July 2024 launch figures.

According to AppMagic, Zenless Zone Zero's total mobile revenue has now exceeded $265 million. Update 1.4's success is attributed to the introduction of new characters, Hoshimi Miyabi and Asaba Harumasa (the latter offered free to all players), enhanced game mechanics, and exciting new content including locations and game modes. The Hoshimi Miyabi banner proved particularly lucrative.

This update's impact on player engagement has been remarkable. Unlike previous updates where spending typically declined sharply after a week, Zenless Zone Zero maintained daily revenue above $1 million for over 11 days and stayed above $500,000 even two weeks post-release.

While a significant achievement, Zenless Zone Zero's revenue still falls short of HoYoverse's other major titles, Genshin Impact and Honkai: Star Rail.
